  • Vestavia Hills Baptist Church 2600 Vestavia Drive Vestavia Hills, AL, 35216 United States (map)

We warmly welcome pianist Adam King to Vestavia Hills Baptist Church on October 1. Adam began his formal music training at the early age of five. He quickly excelled and began serving his hometown church as pianist and organist at age six. At age fourteen, he began his first part-time job as organist at a local church and began coordinating and leading worship for the Wednesday night youth service.

After graduating high school, Adam enrolled in the music department at the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama, studying both piano and organ (with a minor in theatre). While at the university, he accompanied the university’s touring chorale throughout the United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In later years, he returned as an adjunct faculty professor, teaching applied piano and organ, class piano, and music theory. He received a Master of Music from Samford University. He is the resident music director for EverBlue Arts and travels with a New York City based performing group “Shades of Bublé” serving as the Production Manager, Conductor, and pianist.
