Bring the Book

We know the Bible to be more than just a collection of books. In its pages we encounter the story of God and God’s revelation. We meditate on the scriptures in solitude, we study them with fellow disciples, and when we gather for worship it is the Bible from which we read. This coming January you will notice a few special elements on Sundays and Wednesdays as we celebrate the place of scripture in our lives. “Bring the Book” will include a focused sermon series, a Bible table where Bibles will be displayed along with stories about their history, speakers sharing about their own “Bible stories”, and some new elements of worship to help highlight our shared experience of scripture.
