Reading Scripture Well: A Workshop

readers workshop.png

On Sunday, November 24th, the Worship Committee is hosting a special workshop for those youth and adults who would like to learn how to read Scripture well.

“Even Christians who profess to love the Bible sometimes zone out when scripture is read aloud in public worship. Here is help for readers, worship planners, and the congregation to experience the living Word.” (Joan Huyser-Honig, Joyce Ann Zimmerman)

Join us at 11 am for a free lunch from Taziki’s and a reading workshop that will direct you how to speak clearly and present Scripture well for your listeners. Mark Castle, Chair and professor for the School of the Arts at Samford University will be leading this special workshop.

Donations welcomed to offset the cost of lunch. Thanks so much and we hope to see you there!
