Cancer as a Spiritual Journey

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Death, Dying and Resources for Hope

The formation of the Christian life is equipping us for the journey to God in all things. This means both the joys and sorrows. What can we learn about faith dwelling in the extremities of life?  In traumatic events and crises, we are tested. Sometimes we are disappointed to find what we had thought was a sturdy and dependable faith comes undone and we find ourselves rebuilding.

Join us for this study as we think about how both to prepare ourselves and to help others as we go through three of the most common and difficult experiences—traumatic events, cancer, and dying. We’ll listen to the scriptures and to Christian wisdom to learn how to better cope and find grace for those times.
