Vestavia Hills Baptist welcomes new Minister to Students!

Vestavia Hills Baptist Church welcomes Tyler Johnson recently of Williamsburg, Kentucky as our Minister to Students. Tyler will join the VHBC staff effective Monday, June 10. He and his wife Alexis will be moving to Birmingham with their newborn daughter, Nora Elisabeth. 

Tyler comes to us from the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg, Kentucky where he served as Associate Pastor to Students and Families for the past three years after completing his Bachelor of Music at the University of Tennessee and a Master of Divinity at Truett Seminary in Waco, Texas. Tyler grew up in North Carolina and Tennessee before attending seminary in Texas where he met Alexis, a Chicago native and fellow Master of Divinity student at Truett Seminary.

We look forward to welcoming Tyler, Alexis and Nora to VHBC and anticipate Tyler’s ministry among us.
