Encore Strings Summer Academy at VHBC in June

The 2019 Encore Strings Summer Academy will be held June 17-21, 2019, 9am-2pm, at Vestavia Hills Baptist Church in Vestavia Hills, AL. Tuition is $350. For a second child, tuition is $250. REGISTER HERE.

The Encore Strings Summer Academy is a chamber music camp for students ages 7-18. Violin group classes, cello choir, and music theory/history are offered in addition to chamber ensembles. Ensembles will be formed based on student’s current solo repertoire. Daily performances and chamber coachings are given by the Encore String Quartet. Students participate in a final concert for family and friends at the end of the week. Younger students must be able to play Bach Minuets from Suzuki Book 1 and sight read. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.
