Wednesday Sessions now meeting for adults

On February 15 and 22 we continue a great round of options for adults on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.

Bible GPS
Ever wish you could navigate in the scriptures more easily? See its overall message more clearly? Not feel lost when everyone else opens the text? Maybe you’ve said, “I didn’t really go to church growing up, and I feel lost in class.” In this class, we’ll review how to “navigate the scriptures”. What is my Bible? What’s the big story? How do I understand what I’m reading? How can I study it effectively? Led by Pastor Gary Furr. Location: Fellowship Hall

Setting Words to Music
We have been given music for times when words alone aren’t enough to fully express ourselves. This class will explore the various ways that texts are set to music. It will include original texts with existing music, original music with existing texts, and newly composed words and music. Led by Terre Johnson, Minister of Music. Location: Choir Room

Permanent Endowment Fund Q&A final session offered on Feb. 15
Come find out more about the newly-launched Permanent Endowment Fund and find out how to participate. Location: Shalom classroom (Room 253)
