We Welcome Marty Watts, Minister of Music and Worship

Marty Watts begins his music ministry at VHBC on June 4.

Vestavia Hills Baptist Church welcomes Rev. Marty Watts recently of Griffin, Georgia as our Minister of Music and Worship. Marty will join the VHBC staff effective Monday, June 4. He and his wife Karyn will be moving to Birmingham with their son, Duncan, who just recently turned three years old.

Marty comes to us from the First Baptist Church of Griffin, Georgia, where he has served as the Minister of Music for the past fourteen years after completing his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Church Music at Samford University. Marty is a choral and ensemble director, a member of CenturyMen singers, and a cellist.

We look forward to welcoming Marty, Karyn and Duncan into our fellowship and  anticipate Marty's leadership among us.
