Children's Sabbath on October 25th!
On Sunday, October 25th, we join faith communities around our nation to observe Children's Sabbath. Children’s Sabbath is a day to celebrate children as gifts from God. Let this day be a reminder that all children need someone to act on their behalf.
PRAY
Pray for children. You might choose to pray for your children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews or you might choose to pray for a group of children like children in our church, in our community, or around the world. Use the prayer guide below to guide your prayers. Use a verse each day for the next 12 days or use one verse a week.
Please stop by the church to pick up a prayer card to pray for individual children in our church. Prayer cards are available in the front foyer of the church. Let’s pray together.
WORSHIP
Several children will lead in worship on Sunday, October 25, by reading scripture and praying. Let their faces remind you of all the children in our church, community, and around the world. Let’s worship together.
