Open House for Firehouse Shelter on Thursday, Feb 13th!

As the Firehouse Shelter prepares to move into their new facility, we are looking to release our 2020 contribution to the Firehouse in the first quarter of the year to assist them with their startup expenses. From our general budget giving, we will send $3000 to the shelter to help stock their new kitchen and expanded clothes closet.

Our involvement at the Firehouse Shelter spans decades and their ministry is as important now as ever. If you want to learn more about our partnership with the shelter or ways you can get involved, contact the current Mission Committee chair, Scott McGinnis, or ministry leader, Jan Deagon.

This coming Thursday, February 13, Firehouse Shelter will be hosting a special grand opening for their new facilities. Open house hours are between 4pm-6pm. Visitors are welcome to take a tour of the new facility, learn about programs, meet the staff, and see their bricks on the Pathway to Hope.
